Dr Elborough trained in Dundee Scotland, graduating in 1987, completed her GP vocational training in 1991, and moved to NZ in 2000 with her young family.
Dr Parkes’ special interests include paediatrics, women’s health and family planning. However, she enjoys all aspects of family health care from minor surgery to the care of ongoing illness. She particularly values getting to know people over time as she believes this is the key to effectively helping people with their health.
Dr Morar was born in Pukekohe and attended local district schools. He practised general medicine in Rotorua for 13 years and was part of the development of a large Accident and Medical Clinic in that region. An opportunity presented for Dr Morar to return to Pukekohe in 1996 with his wife and two school age children and to join Pukekohe Family Health Care.
Dr Patel was working as a principal in practice in Middlesex, UK before immigrating to New Zealand with her family in September 2005 to join PFHC as a part-time GP. She graduated from Aberdeen University in 1990 and went into General Practice becoming a Member of the college of General Practitioners in 1994.
Dr Wynne-Jones was born and raised in Hamilton. He graduated from the University of Otago in 1986. He worked in the UK for 3 years, and then returned to New Zealand to complete the General Practice Training Programme in 1992. He then spent 7 years working as a General Practitioner for the University of Auckland, Department of General Practice in Manurewa.
Eve qualified in 2013 from the Dunedin School of Medicine, Otago University. Became a GP Registrar in 2017, and is working with the PFHC team. Eve has many interests within her work as a GP including Wellness and the overall balance of all patients seeking care.
After getting his Masters in Biomedical Sciences, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry across Europe, and at Leiden University to teach medical students the basics of pharmacy. He completed his medical studies and GP vocational training at Leiden University, the Netherlands. He moved to NZ together with his wife in 2011.
Dr Saini grew up in Papatotoe and completed her medical degree from the University of Auckland. She worked for 6 years in various medical, surgical and obstetric units in Australia. She settled in Pukekohe with her family in 2010 and has been practising as a GP since. She us a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
Nikki is a specialist nurse with 20 years’ experience in Pediatrics (children’s health), having worked at both Starship and Middlemore emergency departments prior to rejoining the PFHC team running the Little Feet clinic.
Jacqui is a Community Nurse Prescriber with 14 years of experience in paediatrics. Jacqui has worked in paediatric medical and surgical inpatient settings at Kidz First, the Royal Children’s hospital in Melbourne and Starship hospital, she runs the Little Feet Clinic 4 days a week.
Lisa is an experienced Registered Nurse Prescriber who has worked in Primary Care within the Franklin Community for over 10 years. Her areas of specialty include Long Term Conditions, Women’s Health, and Ear Health. She is passionate about ‘holistic’ wellbeing; people being healthy in all areas of their lives – including physical, mental/emotional, spiritual, and family/community.
Navjot is a Registered Nurse Prescriber since 2019 and more than 10 years’ nursing experience working in Primary Care largely PFHC and experience as Diabetes Nurse Specialist at Counties District.
Tema is a specialist nurse that has always worked in Primary Health Care and has a keen interest in Diabetes management and women’s health.
Preet was born in India, moved to New Zealand in 2010 and joined the PFHC team in 2016. She has worked in Primary Care for over 15 years and has previously worked in areas including diabetes, emergency, renal dialysis, aged care and education. Preet is currently completing post graduate studies in Nursing & Health. Her areas of specialty include diabetes management. She is passionate about working in the community to support patients and whānau in achieving optimal health. Outside work, she loves to spend time with family, friends, reading and listening to music.
Sarabjeet moved to New Zealand from India 7 years ago and has worked within Primary Health Care for the last 6 1⁄2 years. She has a nursing background in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, ENT and Aged Care. Her areas of interest within General Practice include Travel health, Immunisations and Acute Care. Other languages spoken: Hindi-English & Punjabi
