From this Saturday 28 March, the Downstairs area of Pukekohe Family Health Care (PFHC), West Street, will operate as aCovid-19 Community Testing Centre.

All appointments for our West Street Centre will now be UPSTAIRS Please be assured, WE ARE OPEN and all services currently provided by PFHC will remain. Flu Vaccine (Influenza)

Those that are eligible for FUNDED flu vaccinations: Over 65 yrs, pregnant, those with chronic conditions, and children over 3yrs with acute respiratory issues and Healthcare workers can ring in for a booking now. Otherwise the Ministry has said Influenza Immunisation Programme start date is from 13st April 2020.

Dr Brigette MeehanMB ChB, Dip Obst, Dip Sports Med,FRNZCGP.

Dr Meehan's experience includes 25 years working in my own practice with a group of 5 GPs. She says 'We were a teaching practice & I taught 4th & 6th year Medical students as well as GP Registrars. My early years in practice included a large component of Obstetrics, working on a DSAC roster with the police and in Sports Medicine for the Manuwatu-Whanganui region.

Dr Tatnell was born and studied in Auckland, but worked in many parts of New Zealand and Australia before starting General Practice in 2017.Dr Tatnell has a background as a paediatrics trainee and this remains a special interest of his, but very much enjoys all aspects of general practice. He has a particular interest in health promotion and disease prevention and is currently at the University of Auckland as part of the Masters in Public Health.

Lisa is an experienced Registered Nurse who has worked in Primary Care within the Franklin Community for over 10 years. Her areas of specialty include Long Term Conditions, Women's Health, and Ear Health. She is passionate about ‘holistic’ wellbeing; people being healthy in all areas of their lives – including physical, mental/emotional, spiritual, and family/community.

Merrin is an experienced senior nurse, with over 15 years experience in Primary Care. Her speciality areas includes acute care and paediatrics, and is able to prescribe certain medications as per of her nursing care. She currently is one of the practitioners who works Little feet clinic and also shares the role of Lead nurse. She is passionate about reducing health inequities and ensuring our community has access to quality health care.

RN Rajpreet Kaur
RN Rajpreet KaurDIPGNM, PBBSC, BNRN, CAP

Preet was born in India, moved to New Zealand in 2010 and joined the PFHC team in 2016. She has worked in Primary Care for over 15 years and has previously worked in areas including diabetes, emergency, renal dialysis, aged care and education. Preet is currently completing post graduate studies in Nursing & Health. Her areas of specialty include diabetes management. She is passionate about working in the community to support patients and whānau in achieving optimal health. Outside work, she loves to spend time with family, friends, reading and listening to music.

RN Sarabjeet KaurDip. GNM, BN, PGCert. Nursing

Sarabjeet moved to New Zealand from India 7 years ago and has worked within Primary Health Care for the last 6 1/2 years. She has a nursing background in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, ENT and Aged Care. Her areas of interest within General Practice include Travel health, Immunisations and Acute Care. Other languages spoken: Hindi-English & Punjabi
